Janis Hansen has lived in Ojai, California since 1988, raising 3 daughters and establishing herself as an art teacher and gallery owner for the last 25 years.

Janis has enjoyed a rich life of artistry of all types.  Originally schooled in culinary arts as a pastry chef, she specializes in baking wedding cakes.  Hansen is a self-trained artist and indefatigably creative person.  She has worked with landscape architects and metal artists, creating indoor and outdoor sculptures for clients in Ojai and Montecito.

Her adult and children’s art classes include glass and tile mosaic, window painting, clay, drawing and painting oil, acrylic and watercolor.  She has endless creative ideas and talents and can customize a class or party just for your own interests.
